FAQ | INFO

SESSION FEE | FREQUENCY Individual sessions: $175 Couples/relationship sessions: $225 Sliding scale fees are available on a limited basis. Payments are accepted via credit card through client portal. Frequency of sessions depends on each client’s needs, but generally we begin with weekly sessions in order to build trust and create a solid base for our work together.

INSURANCE I am not in network with any insurance at this time. If your insurance policy provides reimbursements for out-of-network mental health services, I am happy to provide you with a “superbill” (a summary of services) for you to submit for reimbursement from your insurance. Please call your insurance provider to confirm coverage prior to beginning sessions. Some questions to ask your provider include: Does my plan reimburse for out-of-network mental health services with a psychotherapist? Does it only cover individual sessions? Couples therapy? Telehealth sessions? How much will I be reimbursed? Is there a limit to my coverage (ex: number of sessions or dollar amount)? How do I submit claim forms for reimbursement? How long does it take to be reimbursed?

OFFICE HOURS | CONTACT You may contact me by email any time and by phone/text during regular business hours. I will always do my best to return your message within one business day.

CANCELLATION POLICY Please give 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule a session. If you cancel less than 24 hours in advance or do not show for your scheduled session, you are responsible for the full session fee.

GOOD FAITH ESTIMATE You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost. Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services. You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services. You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
